Most people are new to commissioning art, so let me walk you through the process!
For a proposed mural, please send to hello@gracestatwickstudios.com:
a photo of the wall in question (from head on, not at an angle, with the corners of the walls in view).
the dimensions of the wall. If you have difficulty measuring it by yourself, I am happy to do an in-person estimate to measure accurately and give design insight at your home or place of business within the Richmond metro area.
any design inspiration photos you have and like.
your timeline and the address.
I will generally draw some sketches to put us in the right direction, then I ask for a 25% deposit to secure materials, cover my design time, and put you on my calendar!
I will then draw a digital mock-up of the mural and work with you to get it looking right.
Next comes the fun part - paint day! I then ask for the remaining 75% upon completion to your satisfaction.
